Our Church

It is truly exciting to see things unfold before us as the plans designed uniquely on our behalf come to  pass. Jeremiah 29:11-13 reminds us of the LORD's plan for us:

'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts for peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon ME and GO and PRAY to ME, when you search for ME with all your heart.

So, you see, there is much to shout about and much less to pout about.

It is very easy to become distracted by the appearance of circumstances and things that are not in their completed form. We are under construction as well. Philippians 1:6 says, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"...

He is the Master Crafter...and He created us in His Image.

How to Become a Christian

  1. You must have the desire.

  2. You must express that desire to God

  3. You express that desire by telling Him that you know that you have sinned and ask for forgiveness

  4. You then thank Him for forgiving you.

  5. Ask Jesus to come into your life.

  6. If you are sincere, then in a miraculous way, the Holy spirit will come to live inside you.

  7. You then ought to become a part of a church (after you have done the above) so that you may learn more about Him.  You will be taught there about how Jesus will change your ways for the better.

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scripture; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."(1 Corinthians 15:3, 4)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart men believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9, 10).

Acts 2:38—Peter said to them, “Change your hearts and lives and be baptized, each one of you, in the Name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.  And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

VISION

We believe that Fresh Start Bible Church was ordained by God to be a biblically-based spiritual growth center, with a four-fold purpose.

  • To provide learning opportunities for its members, thereby equipping them for the work of the ministry to which Our Heavenly Father has called us.

  • To provide an opportunity for others to receive that same privilege.

  • To support ministries external to Fresh Start Bible Church that have a need, and are meeting the needs in the lives of broken, hurting humanity, and who model integrity.  Support may include, but is not limited to:

  • Intercessory Prayer

  • Physical presence

  • Technical assistance – special expertise

  • Materials

  • Financial assistance

  • Model integrity in ministry

In order to do the above, Fresh Start Bible Church must practice self-examination, public and private devotion to God, and accountability to one another.
